how do i get 20" rim on my car???

i found these awsome rims w/my mustangs bolt pattern the thing is there
20"'s.now i know that the inner wheel wells have to be rolled or hammered out of the way so they wont rub. i would just like to find out the proper way to do this, so i don't make a mess of it. can someone please guid me in the right direction.. thanks, ron

oh yea i'm driving a 98 gt.

only 05+ mustangs can pull off 20's and get away with it. However if you wish, you will need wheel spacers ($100 or so) and a fender rolling tool (rent for $30) or the free and ghetto way, a hammer.

those are both 22's... lol seriously though. 17 to 18 is the norm for 96-04. 18's for looks, 17 for speed, 15's for the track.

y would u put 20in wheels on a mustang. just jacks it up like an suv and looks rediculous. not to mention u slow the car down alot. 20in rims completely defeat the purpose of having a gt

If you want the car to look better, lower it. Big wheels look *really* bad on SN95s. I wouldn't even do 18s, myself.

Plus, 20" rims are (usually) much heavier than 17s, which kills your performance and fuel economy.

22in look really big compared to 20's, cuz I have them and one time a gt parked next to me he had 18's and looked almost the same, what I'm trying to say is that 20's don't look too big but probably on your ride it will look big... On my car doesnt look that big cuz I have a body kit idk.....
