Engine rebuild

Im wanting to do a rebuild on my engine. Whats the best place to pick up a kit? I want to turn it PI as well, would that be a different kit or same internals? I know heads cams and intake are different

The dish on the pistons is larger for the p.i. motors. Otherwise the internals are the same. You will have higher comprssion if you stay with the n.p.i. dish size, but if you are planning on Forced Induction in the future you should probably go with the P.I dish size. You need to determine what your overall desire for the engine is BEFORE you start ordering your parts. If you are going to go F/I in the future you should only go as high as a .020+ bore on the block. If your going to stay N/A you can go larger. Alot of what you are going to need is deterrmined by your FINAL GOALS, Otherwise you will waste alot alot alot of money.

Good to know, my ultimate goal is somewhere between 400 and 500 whp, yes F.I., no Nitrous. I dont want it to be crazy, just a streetable, fun car.
