Uh, don't do it if you just changed your oil. Wait until it's close to the next oil change so you're not wasting money on new oil.

seafoam the oil at about 2700ish but also you could do seafoam through the vacumme system to clean out the intake/heads/top of pistongs/cylinders this can be done whenever

Changing your spark plugs after doing this is also advised.

Just pull the vacuum off your PCV and suck away. Turn off the car, let it sit a few, turn it on and have fun. I never had an awesome smoke show in any of my cars. I guess that is a good sign, but I still wanted one.

Yeah, definitely get the stuff out of your oil after you've ran it in there long enough.

bahhh, i just changed those sparks last summer to!!! I think i got some Bosch iridium tips. idk tho. all ik tho is that i kinda want all the hoses back in the car. I remember when i first got the car from the lady who owned it before me, she musta never taken the car above 3 grand, cuz ik i sure did like the second day i got it! changed that oil and there was major carbon deposits...saying they were about the size of any of these letters typed on this page would probably put it in the right category. found her drivers license under the seat too, and sure enough she was blond. rofl

If you don't want to waste your "new" good sparkplugs then go out and buy some CHEAP ones. Change the good ones for the cheap ones right before you seafoam. Run in w/ the cheap ones for a few hundred miles and put your good ones back in.

Good Idea.

I (for some reason) save my old spark plugs until the next change. I don't know why, I just do. I guess for comparison or something.

I feel like you get the most out of seafoam through a vacuum line so if you're going to do this make sure you do it right.
