Goin' to the junkyard

I am going to a junkyard tomorrow with a buddy, who went there last weekend and said there are a BUNCH of mustangs. What should I look for? PI heads? a whole PI engine? 5.4? where do the 5.4's come from stock, the f150? my car has 133k on it so a whole new engine sounds nice. And I'm assuming it's easier to take the tranny with it, instead of undoing bell housing. I'm kind of excited hee hee(no, I'm not gay or 5 years old) When my friend was there last week he found a twin turboed 2JZ and the guy wanted 300, and he could have sold it on CL for over 2g's. ...I don't even know what I was talking about now... sorry for wasting your time

the 5.4's came out of most Expeditions and Navigators, and some F150s..

me personally, im looking for a aluminum PI engine out of an explorer in my junk yard hunting but id also look out for a good deal on a late model 4v engine

got my 5.4l long block for 150 bucks non running at a 5 dolla admission fee ewe pullit lot now hopefully in 2 weeks its in the car and running for a way less then i woulda paid for a high mileage running long block and doing everything im doing to it with all new seals/gaskets/rings/bearings/timing parts and ect

lucky... i went to the junk yard today and there was only one mustang of my generation... and it was a V6.

I got a really nice trim ring for my shifter bezel for free from a local junk yard. It was in a totaled 03 gt vert. I was picking up some other items and when I asked how much for it he said just take it.
