issues with 97 gt

so i got a 97 gt convertable for free. the other day i went to start it and all it would do is turn over and pop and back fire from the exhaust. im guessing it jumped time. now before this it would stall out when i came to a stop with my foot on the brake. i would always have to keep my foot on the gas and some times it would take forever to start back up. not very good in traffic. its an automatic.

Had the stall problem on my 98 GT though my vacuum line had just slipped off it's probably bigger then that. Good steal on the free rig!
