Leaking Rear Diff

Its been leaking for about 2-3 weeks and about a couple drops per day, i just did something about it(cuz im lazy) and the bottom bolt was looser than a $5 hoe so i tighteni t up and its still leaking. i firgured i can fix it myself rather than taking it back to place who replaced the fluids and trying to get them to do it for free. So how do i put the fluids in? i have a book on how to do it but it says nothin about how to fill it up, it just says how far you fill it up and Where and what type of gasket do i need? considering the one thats on now is bad

on the opposite side of the diff cover there is a nut that you must remove in order to fill it. it will be on the right hand side if you staring towards the rear of the car.
