315/30/18
I'm about to bite the bullet and get the 315s for my 18x10 Saleen rear wheels but I want to know if I can get these to fit. The tail pipes are closer to rubbing than my quad shocks are. Right now I run 285/30/18. No rubbing other than it looks like during corners or something my driver side tail pipe rubs the tire a very little bit. But I'm sure I can work things out with that. I may need to run wheel spacers but I don't mind so long as the 1.25" wheel spacer works and doesn't make my car look dumb on an 18x10.
Opinions appreciated! |

I have 18x10 rear wheels with 305/35/18 and I run a 1" wheel spacer. I believe they will fit without them but I really like the look with them and this way I dont have rubbing in cornering as you had mentioned. I have the Nitto 555R's. 305's look sexy on the back on sn95's!! DO IT

Oh yea, make sure that you buy hub-centric wheel spacers and you'll be fine. I have had zero issues with mine coming loose or anything. Bought mine on Ebay

These are the ones I bought and the seller that I bought them from. Great customer service, you can call them with any questions that you have.

I work in the tire industry and would reccomend doing 305's or even 295's( which are what I currently have on my Saleen wheels). Anything bigger then the 305 you would have to tub out the rear or it would rub on corners and bumps

I don't see any rubbing issues that cannot be dealt with by some slight bending of exhaust hangers
![]() However, I don't recommend you go 315's on your 10" wheels or run a 1" spacer either. I think you are VERY likely to rub on the fender with a 1" spacer and not fond of the "linked" type anyway. I think they can come loose and unable to tell without removing the wheels to check. If you want to move the wheels outward, I would recommend a 1/2" spacer with longer/stronger studs. Jazzer

I thought 315's would fit without rubbing? Maybe it is 315/35/17 that won't rub I guess there is big difference between 17's and 18's...

I run a 285 35 18 on the rear and with 1" spacers if go over the right bump or rut i do get some rubbing on my fenders in the rear. If you do get 1" spacers (which has given me no issues other then the fender rubbing) i would recommend getting your fenders rolled, i am looking into doing it very soon.

Yeah 315 35 17's won't rub but 18's are extremly close. 305's are the biggest I would personally go. Spacer would help but you will have the potential to rub the fenders. Personally I have the 295's and have never had any rubbing problems and I am not using any spacer.

315/30/18" = 25.6" diameter ... as you were

17's 315*.35 = 110.25 110.25/25.4 = 4.3405 4.3405 * 2 = 8.681 8.681 + 17 = 25.681 18's 315*.30 = 94.5 94.5/25.4 = 3.7204 3.7204*2 = 7.4409 7.4409+18 = 25.44 So 18's are actually shorter than 17s by 1/4 inch
