A Running Lean Code DUN DUN DUN!!!!!!!

ok so recently I got My KING COBRA and STEEDA Tri Ax Short Shifter(HELL YEAH!!!) put in/on and when i got it back i took it for a spin and 30 miles later the CE light was on so i took her to AutoZone to pull the code and it came up that it was running lean....Iam not sure but I think it could be that the Mechanic I took it to didnt plug the O2 Sensors in Correctly. but when I asked them they said the O2 sensors are usually never the case to the running lean code........Any Help????????

that's easy to ck, just look at the sensors and see if they are connected. if not, plug them in and disconnect the battery for a few minutes to clear the kam and you should be good to go. Also might want to make sure there is no physical damage to the sensors or the wiring since they just had the trans out putting the clutch in.
