I have a question on installing a tach

Im installing a tachometer in my 96 gt. But i have never done it before. How do i do it?

FORD, MUSTANG, 1996, Tachometer

3.8 liter find coil pack at top front of engine. Use tan/white, tan/orange or tan/light green. 4.6 liter SOHC and 4.6 liter DOHC, two coils at top front of engine. Use red/yellow, pink/white, red/light blue or dark blue/light blue.

this is what we use when we do remote starts on vehicles. these are tach wires. just strip the wire back, poke a hole through the wire, wrap the wire from your tach around one of the wired that you choose, tape it up with electrical tape, and your done.

on my 98 gt i just tapped into an orange wire with a white line on the passenger side kick panel...works fine for me
