3.8 liter find coil pack at top front of engine. Use tan/white, tan/orange or tan/light green. 4.6 liter SOHC and 4.6 liter DOHC, two coils at top front of engine. Use red/yellow, pink/white, red/light blue or dark blue/light blue. this is what we use when we do remote starts on vehicles. these are tach wires. just strip the wire back, poke a hole through the wire, wrap the wire from your tach around one of the wired that you choose, tape it up with electrical tape, and your done.
