strokers in


hey guys just wanted to let you know my stroker is in right now. i have around 700 miles on her so far. its pretty awesome let me tell yea except the gas mileage is shittttyyyyy. but i so love the comp 270 cams haha. its kinda nice when your ina drive tru and there like huh. will try to get a video posted soon

Which stroker kit do you have? And why is your mileage so bad? Do you have the tune correct? I wouldn't think the mileage would change that drastically from .4 more liters and a little more cam.

its starting to get a little better now that i have a few more miles on it. i think its stroked to like a 298. .20 and a stroker crank i do think with stage 2 port and polish heads with comp 270 cams. i have a break in tune on it right now and im trying to chase a little miss. i heard is my cams making it jump at low rpms but no clue. i am uprgrading to 24 or 30 injectors and a new 255 fuel pump with new rails before i get it put on the dyno. i usually am around the indian river area. and really i dont much about cams but the 270 comp cams are more than a little cam. i dont see how people with 278 comp cams drive on the road

talking about how people type is lame. i was drunk but ok. yea u should do it man. i mean its alot of money but so worth it. i have quit a bit of upgrading to do like my fuel system and i need gears because its a dog right now but eventually she will be good to go

I think he meant for the drivability and idle. Hes saying the 270s are pretty agressive

A comp 278 Cam has less of an agressive idle than a 270... but a comp 270 IMO is a great DD cam...

now the cam in my car now, not so much, but a comp 270 with a 3200 stall in an automatic would be fun... 3200 is right where that cam starts making its most torque, and winding up with the horsepower...

what the gas miliage like? I get about 18 now with my supercharger...probobly 15 after i bump it to 10psi

the 270 cams are pretty bad ass. i was just saying i know the 278 cams are more aggresive and mine i dont have gears right now so shes a bucking dog till 2000 prms or so. i mean 278 they dont kick in really till like 3200 so i can only imagine lol maybe im wrong. but the 270 cams are worth it. just make sure u spend the extra and get ported heads
