replacing heads.... what you think?

hey i was just wondering your opinion on this: i own a 96 gt.. it has K& intake, flowmasters, and the chip. now i wan to get more horsepower out of my stock v8, 2v engine.. i was thinking of replacing the heads to get extra power...mabe get the 4v heads..... but.... do you think i should get the programmer instead? its about the same price.....

you wont just be able to slap on 4v heads onto your car, i would look into some heads from vt. and a good set of cams to match ur set up.and also change out your rear end gears.gears wont add hp but it will really wake up the acceleration

Your best bet would be to find a whole donor 4 valve engine.

yeah if you deff. want 4v power, get a 96-98 motor. But you will need pcm and wiring harness as well. You can put 4v heads on but you will need to modify alot.
