5.4 build (pics)

so far just have the crank plastigaged and final torque down. the girdle itself is still loose till new oil pump is ordered. what yall think so far

2v... and no its the stock fordge crank ....with the DSS main support

Its the stocker. I think the winsor motors came from the factory with them?

No, it's cast. I assume that you have an 8 bolt and are thinking it's forged. There are thousands of 8 bolt cast cranks floating around that came out of trucks and SUV's.

The cranks in the 5.4L DOHC and SOHC engines are cast or forged. Most of the cranks are forged, but not all. The only way to know for certain is to look at the parting line. Thick line for forged, thin line for cast

update!.... so far i got 7 in.... i got new oil rings on the way... person who bored by block forgot to grove the top of bore sooo i had an oil ring waving at me the other day. tell me what yall think
