Casper98GT ?


i was browsing through your pictures when this picture brought something to my attention. i have a small leak around the grommet. but it seems to be impossible to remove this without breaking something around the pcv. its almost like it has attached itself to the valve cover. how can i get it off. also i posted a pic of where the port is under the throttle body in my other post.

haha, i feel stupid. Ok, now i see the pic. Thats a breather for youre other valve cover. That actually DOES seperate, but through age and such...tends to stay tight to that piece of plastic. I would try cutting it and then putting another on. Dont try to work it though...cause it might crack youre valve cover.

lol. so cut the grommet. then will i be able to remove the plastic part. and replace it as well? thanks for the info/pics on the PI swap in your earlier post. i saved it. it will help me in about 2 months.

Do you mean the piece of rubber, or the piece thats attached to the valve cover ?? because youre not getting that spout out of the cover.

so if i just replace the grommet it will stop the leak
