wheel spacers

im tired of the tucked in look of my wheels. will 1" spacers in the back make my wheels flush with the fender? what size spacer will make the front flush? any tips on brands?

i would just get some wider wheels.....the spacers IMO are a wast of $$$. but if you want em get em. but be warned the further you tire sticks out the more dirt n mud youll sling up on your car...lol

You could try the spacers and see if you like the look. eBay has them pretty cheap. But wider wheels is the best bet.

I was always told to stay away from spacers because they would cause your bearings to wear out quite abit faster

This true on the front as it places a heavier side load on the bearing, a different offset can cause the same results. However some 4" and small width front wheels need to run a spacer. How much extra wear does it cause ? I would guess to say minimal.

While we're on this subject, what is the biggest tire I can fit on my car. I think the stock wheel sizes on my Cobra is 17 X 8 front and back. I'm wondering if I can fit 315s or 305s on them.
