What is the big difference between a regular 96-98 mustang and a cobra?

Like I know the 01+ are S/C right?

Whats the big deal about the SN95's?

I have seen a few around here for a decent looking deal, so Im kind of interested thanks!

the difference between a 98 mustang and a 98 mustang Cobra is the the DOHC motor in the Cobra.
the 99-01 Cobra had better heads than the 98-98 Cobras. the 03-04 Cobra has a forged engine and a supercharger.

OOOO ok think I understand now...

Now for one more newb question..

How much better are the DOHC vs SOHC (guessing thats what the reg SN95 has)

Much better. Much Much better. The regular mustang GT's have the SOHC engine while the Cobra's (and Mach's) have the DOHC.

lol after I get my career, I would like to own a 03+ Cobra

We shall see....

If I happen to run across a SN95 cobra I wouldnt mind getting it if its a good deal.

Just -03 and -04 are supercharged. But they also are the only ones with independent rear suspension, which is good stock vs. stock GT setup, but with much fewer upgrades available.

Different cams, and intake obviously for the supercharger.
T-56 6 speed for the termi's
5 speed for the 99, 01's
