Its totalled I would have to say...Your body is tweaked and will cost more to fix then the car is worth...

i wouldn't say it is totaled.

cut and weld in a new q-panel.. new wing and rear bumper..

it doesn't cost more than 4k to do that if you find the right place.
even if it is totaled just wait until they total it and cut you a check.. then go and see about the buyback value. then just part the car out and make a few bucks.

the insurance should give you more for your car if its totalled, cause the flowmasters are aftermarket and you payed extra for them so they'll reimberse your money

The insurance doesn't cover aftermarket stuff unfortuantely. My girl had an accident last year and she has a 98 Mustang V6 w/80K in MINT condition KBB of 6K and the insurance company gave her a check for 4K because it wasn't in mint condition....needless to say Geico got sued and she got damages fixed....point is, you'll get a check for the depreciated value and it will be smaller if you keep the car and get the check than if you give the car and get a check. I'd say take him to court with the other people to testify against him and get enough money to fix your car. Accidents really suck ass and insurance companies, ESPECIALLY GEICO, will total a car instead of having to worry about fixing it. Hope everything works out for you. Good luck man

Your best bet is to let them total it out then buy it back for cheap and then part it out...You can make some decenbt change off the parts...Prolly enough for you to get a nice down-payment for another one...

How much would it cost to fix a slightly bent frame? I wrecked mine, too.

Depends on your insurance coverage/company. I pay extra on my insurance to make sure recent repairs/mods done properly of course are taken care of. My home insurance takes care of the car stereo and random crap inside the car. Save your reciepts either way it doesnt hurt to try.

I'm sure this guy has sold that car (to the insurance company) and moved on to a mini van by now. This thread is more than 2 years old and needs to go back to the grave.
