Some of the wires are a pain to get on the pack but it's nothing out of the ordinary.

Not really sure I felt a difference when I installed mine. The stock coil packs were fine - I just felt like blowing money.

At the most you just did a peace of mind modification knowing there are no problems in that area.

I didn't read what everyone else said but I went through 4 MSD coil packs before I finally switched back to stock which had plenty of spark. And I never had another problem.

The key is good wires.

But here is the problem. I cant choose between the coil packs.

The Accel
Accel Super EDIS Coil Pack (96-98 GT/Cobra) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

The MSD
MSD 4.6L Coil Pack (96-98) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

Which is better?

the tuner place i went to down in virginia beach a while back said to only run ford factory motorcraft coilpacks. they said they have had all kind of problems with aftermarket ones. i was thinking about getting the msds myself but i think im just going to get factory motorcrafts. i have some elcheapo autozone coil packs on right now

idk bout anyone else but that ad looks sketchy...first off they say they are for 95-98 4.6L's and it wasnt one typo its all over the ad and look at them on 50resto or cjpony parts or summit...they dont even look the same..idk im thinking a cheap knock off for that price...thats $30 cheaper per coilpack over all the other places

Yea there refurbished. I knew that when I bought them. I dont have an issue with refurbished parts....the way i see it is that they did have a problem and now there fixed...so nothings going to go wrong.

They came in black instead of red but besides that they were great. Came with all the MSD paperwork and stuff.

But who is to say the redesigned the parts that were failing on all these refurbished coilpacks. Who is to say they are all replaced with new oem
pieces. Just saying

Haha yeah anything is better than those. I'm sure you guys will
be fine I doubt a company like msd would not redesign the new parts that are aparently failing. Idk though

The shop where i got my car tuned in denver told me the same thing, that they are always taking off aftermarket coil packs, and replacing them with original ones..

so far mine are still stock, and they are workin' great
