New start ..


Ok i have a 96 mustang 4.6L, What do i start with? I have flowmasters on the car, it was there when i bought the thing..OO and its a drop top automatic with 177.634 on the engine.. I changed the plugs just with the stock ones and 5w-30 castorl senthetic oil change.. What do i need to do now??? Any Help..P.s low on money...

do you mean what do you want to do performance wise or tune up wise.
tune up wise i would get new ignition wires, change the fuel filter, add fuel injector cleaner, maybe some seafoam. performance wise, most of the high hp adders are gonna run you 500-3000 dollars, as for low cost you can do underdrive pulleys $200, intake $150-$200. and get a tuner.

You have 177k miles ? Hmmm.... get a major tune-up and replace a lot of stuff like 97_4.6L_Stang said... if you start modding your engine might not last much longer....

Def agree... Once you get all the tune up stuff done the first thing i would do is slap a set of 4.10 gears in the rear end. You wont be dissapointed.
