Personally I would put in a set of VT or Comp cams in if I was doing cams. They will gain u more power, and will make ur Mustang sound so much better. And also to get the full power gains of cams I would suggest ethier PI heads and intake or go VT heads with a intake manifold like trick flows new one. And to get some thing like that done will not be cheap, because it is time consuming.

actually the cams and intake are the only thing that actually net horsepower. The heads are not worth much. Do a search on some dyno charts sometime. The cams are actually worth alot because of the bigger lift you get from them and the intake is a great gain because of the air youre letting in compaired to the restrictive ports on the nonpi intake. So as far as cost goes find someone who works on 4.6 motors, because i have a trick to doing them. you dont need to move the timing cover or mess with timing. Is like a 1 1/2 hour job compaied to someone doing it that doesnt know the motors and it taking them like 4 hrs.
