changing two twin cam heads?


ok here go's has anyone tryed to take the twin cam heads off a lincon 4.6l an put it on a 1997 GT can it be done and if so what do I need to change I have a doner motor from a mark 8 I think. thank you for any help you guys can give me.

I can't wait to hear a reply on this I have been wondering about this forever I know where there are 3 mark 8's with good engines but totalled bodies....

The answer is yes, you are going to need the front cover intake and all the p-arts other than the shortblock. Keep in mind you will have a slightly lower compression ratio and the early mark intakes and heads are not real power making items. You will end up with about the same as doing a P.I cam and intake swap as far as power at 10 times the cost and headaches of wiring, if you want the 4 valve power look for a complete cobra engine.
