Car lacks power!

Hey Guys,

Another thing is happening...

Recently I changed the intake manifold.

It ran fine for a week, now the car hesitates once in a while when I accelerate. It even does it at idle.
Its not throwing any codes or wasting any more gas. It just lags power when I really need it.

Any ideas why it's doing that?

-Thanks

Make sure everythings tight. See if something came lose over the past week and is causeing a vacum leak. Running lean will cause you hesitation.

it would amaze you how much vibration goes on. I always have to go back over my stuff. I normally set an hour a side a month and go over my stuff

sounds like a vacuum leak, if it turns out not to be that it could be an ignition issue

It seriously is. I wish cars just came with a knob that you could turn to make them faster.

With numbers that were like 12 11 10 9 8 7 6 all the way down to 4.

And those could be your quarter mile times. Save you the whole modding and driver mod proccess =P

I would on nice days, but when the weather's bad out I absolutely love traction control...hell some of those supercars are difficult to control on perfectly dry pavement with the traction control turned off.

Neither of my cars have TC, the mustang or the Jeep. The jeep is 4WD though which helps.

I found out about TC in my parents expedition though...that car is probably the nicest thing I've ever driven, fully loaded eddie bower package. Heated seats ftmfw.
