I put the car up on the lift, and saw some fluid dripping, I noticed it was white/purple. So I opened up my valve cover to check out how it looked under there... And it looked like I poured milk in instead of royal purple.

I don't really know where I can go from here. I already spent quite a bit on this swap. Idk.. Just didn't make for a good day I guess.

Calm down first. Deep breath.

First drain it all out. Just open it and get it all out of there. Then id grab some of the cheapest oil you can get and run it threw there a few times. Just to clean it out. Then lets work from there. Now is all of this after the pi swap?

Are all your headbolts tight? Maybe a head gasket leak?

I torqued them all, in the right sequence, and did the XXlbs, turn a 1/4 turn, undo one whole turn, Torque to XXlbs, turn 1/4 turn deal.

I didnt check the heads for flatness though.

When the engine is cold and you start it up do you have air bubbles appearing in your radiator? This could indicate a blown head gasket that is leaking coolant when you shut your engine off and it cools off. Other possible causes are a crack in a head, cylinder liner or block. Did you ever overheat the engine severely? This may have caused a crack in the block or head. Remove the spark plugs after the engine has cooled and observe each cylinder If you are blowing a mist or coolant this would narrow it down to a head gasket or a head. Otherwise, you are f-----. You have a cracked block

theres your problem. always always always at least have the heads checked to make sure you dont have to tear it apart again. my brother just went through a second head gasket on his taurus because when they replaced everything they didnt bother checking the heads at all. even the slightest scratch on the heads will be problematic. also, when installing, get as many sets of hands as you can and take your time positioning because scratching the head surface on a dowel can cause a similar problem. im having my npi heads which were freshly rebuilt (from the last owner) resurfaced one more time just to make sure theyre safe. i know how you feel about the swap. my engines down to the shortblock and i dont wanna do this again. lesson learned though.

Just wondering, did you reuse the old headbolts? My car has no O2 sensors, they are off, not even connected, passes inspection every year, I guess my diablo chip is bad ass! Your bogging down is from the water in the cylinders.

If Iam not mistaken I think I saw you are missing a clamp on your CAi by the maf. It will suck in air causing it to bog like that too.

dont quote me on this, but look it up if you feel interested. but the factory style torque-to-yield bolts i believe can be retorqued up to 5 times total. from the factory they are torqued down twice (as per the ford manual) and can probably at least be torqued down another two times during a head swap. after the fifth time though, theyve stretched too far and need to be replaced.
