yes u def need to get the valve springs and the tuner, the cams produce more lift than what stock spring can provide, therefor IF(highly doubtful), IF it dont mess anything up your engine will make a tapping sound which is the valve springs are being pushed beond its limits, and can break or cause damage to the heads/etc, and yes you will need a tuner also, cause ur computer has no idea what u have done to the motor, it will equalize your intake/exhaust, so it understands and can adjust for the mods u have done and get the max potential out of ur cams

im using the bbk shorty headers now, alot of people dont care for the shorty's they prefer the long tube headers, the long headers will produce a more deeper sound if im not mistaken.

with cams youll need a dyno tune. Call around and ask shops what they charge. They normall will hook you up with the tuner and your tune at one time

Stall convters.....
ok umm pretty much how they work, in your car right now... if its an auto... the transmission under 1800 rpm slips per say, then at 1800 and above the converter locks up and makes the connection between the trans and the engine solid. Putting a higher stall in lets you launch at a higher rpm, but also makes those lower rpms less usable. This explanation is horrible and id recommend googling it. I wouldnt really worry about the stall though, you have to drop the trans to install it

A stall converter allows your engine to wind up higher before it really takes hold. So to choose a stall converter you need to determine the rpm you really start to make power to determine the correct stall speed. Before I got mine I called the company and they asked how my car was set up to determine the correct stall speed. A converter will run around $700 or so depending on the brand. As stated earlier you need to pull the tranny to install one.

3.55 gears, intake, exhaust, spring upgrade, 2400 stall and you may need to have your pistons notched. You can have your pistons notched with the motor in the car though.
From the looks of what you have in your sig, you would just need the springs and to get your piston notched.

I suggest if you put the larger cams in to get the stall converter, do it right the first time. You can get a converter cheaper than $700 if you shop around
