I believe most are pretty good
Def go with the long tubes you get 20hp out of them and shortys is like 5 hp Im going with BBK myself with a o/r h pipe (x gives more hp but is not as good sounding and I dont believe its "much" of a hp difference considering the sound difference) |

And look into how your gonna get those LT's installed. I've been told that you have to pull the engine on a cobra. I have one, too. Welcome to MM!

Good luck with the install. Have a swear jar handy because it sucks royally. But there are just too many good exhaust manufacturers it's hard to say which is best anymore. I've heard good things about Hooker headers, and bad things about MAC products. Personally I'm a big fan of Borla exhaust as I've put their parts on previous cars and sounds excellent (not too loud, just loud enough). Well good luck and let us know whatcha decide on.

well ur wrong anyway. the h always gives a slight more power but like he said its very minimal between the two.
headers for ur car are real real real tough to install good luck. lt's will give u around 20-25 wheel and they arent that expensive but if ur doin the install urself, which i wouldnt recommend, than u need to do a whole hell of a lot of work. in most cases u need to drop the tranny or at least the cross member. honestly headers arent really worth all the money that needs to be spent on there behalf.

And by the way a X will give you more power. The air flow is not as restricted.

I installed Hooker longtubes on my 4V. It's a PITA, time consuming but not all that bad. You don't have to pull the engine. You do have to drop the k and support the engine from above to gain the access you need to install. Took me and a buddy about 8-9 hours but we BS'd alot enjoyed a few brews along the way. Definitely a good weekend project. It was done in my shop on axle stands. A lift would be a nice luxury but is not necessary. Good luck and take some pics for a "how to" article.
I had gotten estimates from $500-$600 for the install. Glad I did it myself.
