Cold air intake Mass air flow sensor

What does the mass air flow sensor on a cold air intake look like? The shop where I got my car is trying to tell me something is missing off of it.

It's the black sensor on top of the air intake inlet that drops in. Here's a link to a picture: http://info.rockauto.com/getimage/ge...ey/1570255.jpg

you need to swap your stock mass air meter onto the cai kit. If it worked when you took it in then it should be there.

i just now bought the car three weeks ago only stuff i got is what came with it. All i know is they said something electronically is shutting my fuel pump off and that they think that might be what is causing. I was hoping to see the inside of the tube where the sensor goes to see if it looks the same as mine to see if something is missing

I don't have a pic of that, but it should look like a thin string surrounded by a round socket. That goes up to the black box on top. Further down the line you have an air temp sensor too. That should be inside a rubber grommet on the actual air tube itself between the mass air flow sensor and the throttle body.
