Can you rig a 99-04 maf for our 4.6?
Locally a buddy at our local track was selling a maf from bbk and but he has a 99 mustang gt. We looked at the connectors but there not the same size, so could you just splice a connector from a 99 mustang to the wire harness of the 97 and work just fine?

hmm.. you could probably splice it and make it work however, i see it being a problem in the future.. i think it would be better to just get one for a 97..
Good luck

you can do it, but unless you need more maf capacity its not worth spending time or money on it. They sell connector adapters, or you can solder the wires.
