Aluminum Driveshaft in 97 Cobra.....

Hello all, I'm debating on an aluminum driveshaft for my 97 cobra...any thoughts? From research it is 8.5 lbs lighter than stock. If there are big difference in response through the drivetrain? I have 4.10's and underdrive pulleys, Obviously this is the last portion of the drivetrain to make more efficient, but I want to know if it's worth it. Can you feel a difference with the aluminum vs. stock?

Thanks for any info provided.

Well by using a lighter driveshaft, you will be able to get ur RPMs up quicker. Same with an aluminum flywheel. Personally I would not do it, just because the money can be used for other things that will do more for you. But for only 250 bucks it might be worth it.
