Well done so far. Lots of good choices made. The intake looks great. What primer/paint did you use on it? It looks like it's been powdercoated.

Oh.. btw, please since you have it apart still, do yourself a favor and grab some of these:
Rods H-Beam Ford Stroker 4.6 5.4 347 5.850" 5.933" 6.657" 6.657"

A balancing job is cheap and stock rods suck cawk. I know lots of guys running around on those h-beams, including my car. It's cheap insurance even if you ever think you might maybe want run a power adder.

the intake has indeed been powdercoated, that is very observant of you i wanted a stock-ish look but the shine offered by the powdercoated gloss black makes it have that pop i like but still hard to discern that its aftermarket.

as far as the rods go i actually planned on getting some forged h-beam rods so no worries there. this is what i was thinking about and you can tell me what you think of them.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FORD-...#ht_3022wt_897

i will also be getting some forged pistons. thinking right around the 16-18cc dished area so i can have a 9-ish:1 compression ratio because i do think i plan on boosting it in the future but if i go too low of compression then for the time being the engine wont preform as well, so i believe that the stock cc is a happy medium/compromise.

ok this is a picture update, not to be confused with me actually doing work and posting a build update. this is work i did in the past and just now am posting the pictures what?....i said i was lazy.

cleaned up the external heads because there was quite a bit of oxidation as you can tell by the earlier pictures and a wire brush did some wonders on it and looks a hell of a lot better.

also all of the intake ports on this cylinder head. only brought 1 head down from the attic. and yes i plan on getting a valve job and possibly a port job done on these heads.

my incomplete battery relocation kit (no thanks to cobra1kill3r....piece of shit)

and my cobra oil pan and oil pickup tube (need to grab an mmr street/strip cyro treated gears pump)
