I need a Transmission part. Where do I get it?

I need a plastic gear that makes the trans turn the speedo gear on the sensor. I need the gear that is inside the tailshaft of the trans. I have a trans out of a newer stang that is magnetic pickup and I need to switch it over. Thanks for any help you all can get.

I will try tommorrow. I have a 98 GT bought for 2500 that has had a 5-speed conversion and the sensor is wrong (trans is out of a 04 GT). I am just lining up the parts for the car so I can make it all work together.

The little plastic gear that is attached to the vehicle speed sensor is available from late model resto. It is actually on the driver's side of the transmission.
