Ok I get what you are saying now. Your non pi factory intake broke so you want to replace it but possibly with a pi intake. Imo it would defeat the purpose considering the restricted airflow and lower compression in the non pi heads. I'm sure if could only do good though... I would assume anyways. Just don't forget you gotta drill that extra hole for the second water temp gauge

yes you can do the PI intake only. MY npi intake cracked a few weeks ago and i ordered a kit that had everything you need. the only thing extra you have to do is put some rtv sealant in one of the ports. the pi intake alone adds about 20-25rwhp
heres the kit i used -->PI Intake Swap Kit
in the options on this order the 2nd temp sensor hole drilled and tapped..

Or you can shop on craigslist like me just got 2001 pi intake with throttle body; fuel rail, and everything that goes up there for the most part. And got my romeo pi heads for 170, machine shop guy said they were flawless before he starting doing the porting and valve job.

< rocking npi heads, pi cams, pi intake.

cash was the deciding factor for me

pretty much free freshly rebuilt npi heads > used, more expensive, pi heads
