What triggered the anti theft system and how do you know it is the anti theft system shutting off your fuel pump?

just disconnected the batery in hope of resetting the system.

anti theft light is flashing i spoke to the dealer they will replace the tranceiver they said thats normally the problem, i hope thats it i' m out of money.

it is trying no gas flashing theft light.

How long did you leave your battery disconnected for? Its just for a few seconds try about 5 minuets. If that doesn't work check your inertia switch.

Worse case scenario your anti theft is out, do you have your car fully covered? Maybe you could file it on your insurance?

I tried unhooking the battery, waited approx 10 min & checked the inertia switch same ol same no start. guess i better call the flatbed take the girl for a 20 mile ride on emergency( old series in the 60 early 70's) call dr. bracket.

Try cranking it and checking the fuel pressure. Maybe its got a dead fuel pump.

i'm calling a wrecker to take it to the dealer, they said most of cases is the tranceiver in the steering column.

chip in key not being read with the tranceiver which is in the steering culumn. replaced no problems hopefully that resolved the problem.
