possible obstuction inside the motor.

This is my first motor build and im building the motor with someone who hasn't ever done a 4.6. The heads are on but the cams are off. We're prepairing to time the motor and it won't turn freely.

----Is there anything simple that im missing that would keep the motor from turning freely besides an obstruction inside the cylinder?

why are you swapping a stock head on there??

Put a Pi head on there before you regret it.

i bought the car from a drug auction they claimed the motor was bad so i decided to risk it and just get the motor running well shortly after the motor locked up. I havent taken the motor apart to see why yet but i bought a motor out of a wrecked mustang that was hit hard. the left head cracked the face plate and the oil filter adapter plate and along with bending the pullys
The block has no visible damage

what is a pi swap
