antifreeze?

Our car uses the green stuff right??? Cause I just bought Peak original green antifreeze. It said for ford and chrysler vehicles 2000 and earlier

THIS IS FALSE.... FYI different types of coolants have different type of properties and some coolants can actually ruin the cylinder walls they are touching... important to know the difference and if your engine needs it.

Our engines need normal green though.

my antifreeze is brown and smells horrific but the dealer said it was normal

time for a flush. use the green in a 50/50 ratio with water.

Also, I have seen purple coolant. it was in a toyota truck. I know they make extended life coolant that cannot be mixed with regular kind. also there is non toxic kind.

I just stick with prestone. The trick is to save the bottle so when you buy another one, you pour half the new one into the old bottle and top both off with water. easy mixing

the non toxic coolant is propylene glycol, as opposed to ethylene glycol(green)

i think the propylene glycol is clear...but i find this wierd because I use propylene glycol in my cigar humidor, and its clear
