So, my 98 gt had a wicked coolant leak that i tried to jimmy rig a fix, but now it leaking hella bad. I am trying to do this by myself, but i am very much not a mechanic. The pictures in the first post are not there... I feel like they would make a world of difference. Help?

Also disconnect the vaccum hoses from the EGR and the useless pump behind it. Dont forget the DPFE sensor on the same bracket.
this is were i am stuck... other then this little step, i am going to take the gas lines off, then its time to somehow take out the intake.

What i dont get is... well... any of it... What is the EGR, (more so... whats it look like) -> same for DPFE.

PI Swap

Hey just ordered the kit from that armadillo place on eBay looking to install tomorrow thanks for the post looks pretty straight forward
The kit comes with the nipple and tube for the back of the water pump and the crossover is pre tapped for the sensor seems like a good deal we'll see what it looks like tomorrow

Double check all your electrical connections- fuel injectors included? Any vacuum leaks?

Great post Casper, you have been really helpful. Especially because my intake cracked (98 GT) and I was also wondering if I could go PI Intake with the stock heads. One little detail though, for some reason, I can't see the pictures. Is it just me or is it that the post is too old?

PI Intake on Ebay

Ive read this thread several times and pm'd casper but i guess he doesnt get on here much anymore. So i found this PI intake for NPI heads. Its on Ebay and has everything you need for the swap. Someone who has done the swap please look and see if its what I need. Any feedback would be great. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/96-97...Q5fAccessories

Well I gues my question is. I have seen u guys keep having to go get parts and stuff. This kit on that link seems to have it all, and no need to use the rtv sealant. I was just wondering if anyone had used this kit or know anyone who does and is it worth 300 bucks, and how much cheaper is it to use caspers version. thanks for the help http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/96-97...Q5fAccessories
