I might be the most recent dude to do it [about 3 weeks ago] not worried about posting my # 203-535-0490.

it's pretty straight forward except for a couple little bolts behind the head that hold the crossover tube and mine also had what I like to call a fuel hose protection device [left side of engine] and that bolt is even tougher to get [if yours is so equipped] seems like not all mustangs have this protection"device" unfortunately mine did..no worries it's just hard to get at. other than that the pics and text on here should get you through it

have fun!

that crossover tube was a bitch. and lets not forget having to remove the water pump and bang the nipple out. took us about 45 minutes.

solution. take a socket that fits in the whole the water pump nipple fits in and bang it out old nipple with hammer. Mine got shredded cause we tried to pull it out.

When in doubt, fix it the Russion way. Hit it with a hammer

haha we got this done on saturday. thanks for the offer though slow! it went without a hitch that coolant tube has the most idiotic design i've ever seen.. and we tapped out the pump nipple with a ball-peen hammer. destroyed the front of the nipple but we didn't need it anyway :p

how on earth did it take you 45 minutes to get that nipple out? once we discovered we had to take it out, we had the water pump off and the new nipple in in maybe 10 minutes

now i just have to deal with this stupid exhaust leak...

we didn't realize we had to take the water pump off......we tried to yank it out and destroyed it.

thus all the extra time trying to bang a mangled nipple out

No longer have the numbers. They should be the same ones listed here. PI Gaskets.

There are either 2 or 3 different gaskets for the 99-04 gt's, think it matters which one I get?
