Whats up? My name is Rick. I bought a 97 gt but it is stock as they come. I work at the hospital and go to school so money is tight. I want to do a lot to the car, but it will probably be a long process. I am going to put a set of 40 series 2 chamber flowmasters on with the H pipe very soon. I was looking at the throddle body and was wondering about the size. I was wondering if the 75mm would be any good so???? I am glad to be part of the forum, nice to meet all of you.

Welcome. Be sure to get some pics of the car up soon. And starting with freeing up the exhaust is a good idea. Not a big fan of throttle body upgrades, at least not as a starting upgrade. Ask around, you'll get a plethera of knowledge from all the SN-95 guys/gals here as to what they've done with their cars.

Personally - I started with my ignition. Dunno why really, just thought it'd be a good starting point. There's my $0.02 But exhaust (especially a nice set of coated headers along with an X-pipe) will help you see the biggest hp gains for the smallest money.

But the O/R X doesnt sound as good as an O/R H-pipe or a Prochamber! And the difference between and X and a H are hardly anything! Personally I would go with the H Like you said you were!
