2001 console in a 97?

Shouldn't have any problems swapping a 01 console into my 97 should I?
Won one on ebay yesterday for $85 shipped. Mainly because of the cup holders is why I wanted it. Just want to be sure that my shifter bezel and everything will work perfectly! 99% sure it will but just want experience opinons to be assured.

Will bolt right in, but the colors of black changed from the 96-98 and the 99-04s so it probably wont match, or at least that is what I have been told!

description was charcoal grey/black. So if its not right ill get some krylon black plastic paint

Yeah I think both of those colors changd with the periods of time. The only colors that didnt was the light gray like mine in my garage and the orangeish tan.
