Shifter?

What is the big difference in buying a short shifter. I was going to get one, so if so......what size to buy that will make the biggest difference? Thanks

I have a Pro 5.0 and absolutely love it. I have not driven anything else buy I like the 5.0. The advantages are a much shorter throw, and also the factory shifter doesnt have shift stops on it so it is possible to break pieces in the tranny when shifting hard with the stock shifter. In fact that is how Pro 5.0 started they were tired of breaking the T-5 shift forks in the Fox bodies, so they started building the shifters with the stops and then the short throws. I thought the stock shifter was great until I bought this Pro 5.0. It is very simple to install and makes a HUGE difference as would any MGW and Steeda Tri-ax.
