SLP exhaust HELP

hey guys im looking at buying SLP catback. i was just wondering what the difference is on the 94-97 GT system and the 98 GT system when other companies like magnaflow make exhaust system for 96-04. are the pipes bent differently? Its just weird how they separated the years like that. thanks

well i know that. i just called SLP and the guy said that 98 is the year Ford put a "spacer" on the hangers...other exhaust companies include it in the kit but they made a kit separate for 98 so they dont have to put that part in every kit but he said its not a big difference. Even though i still doing know what he was talking about but ok lol.

I have a 97 with the SLP cat-back exhaust and I live here in overland park. I dont know which one you were wanting to get but i have the cat-back and i like it, but its loud!!! you can pm me and i can let you listen to it on my 97 if youd like and show you what it is. If you like loud with an amazing tone then this is the exhaust for you. It is to loud for me personally so i am going to change it out, i might be interested in selling it aswell alot cheaper than new...

well i really want flowmaster 40 series again, i have never been a magnaflow fan but thats me. idk exactly how old it is, it was on the car when i bought it and im going to assume maybe 6 months old, theres no rust or anything but the left tip is alittle messed up, the previous owner did not know how to park a lowered car and messed up the front bumber and the left tip. It is a no restriction setup. I have long tubes an x pipe and then the SLP exhaust and it is louder than crap with a deep tone. if you want it i would probably sell it cheap, just enough to get my flowmasters and install.
