The low oil sensor is really sensitive on my 96. Even full of oil if I park with the nose down hill, the light comes on. I have just learned to live with it.

id actually pay attention to that kinda stuff guys. i mean i know mine freaks out sometimes when i park on an angle, etc. but it was right before my headswap that my car was chugging the oil down hardcore when i started to realize there might be a problem. (ended up being valve stem seals) which is actually a common problem on 96's to have the valve seals fail. if its constantly coming on - check your oil level, first. then if everythings fine - look into replacing the sensor - im sure its not hard. also call a dealership with your vin # and verify that your car has had all the necessary recalls done. i know there was a dipstick issue with our cars reading wrong that they fixed with a new dipstick.

I never knew about that. Your car looks very nice in your sig pic btw. Is it Silver or Opal frost?

thanks. opal frost the previous owner had just had the dipstick recall done, and a sticker was placed in my owners manual correcting everything. (they now recommend 6 quarts 5w20 instead of 5 i believe) plus i had a parking brake recall that was also fixed.
