once again gears...


alright im thinkin about ordering 390s tomorrow, what all will i need to have the speedo set correctly again and everything else that i will need to go with the gears

And i know this is a stupid ? but its one of those things that i just want to double check before i go and spend 200 dollars.... these will fit right?

go to www.steeda.com and get the correct speedo gear for youre car too.

what tooth is it and everything? i put my vin in the other gears thread if that helps...

You will need a Manual 8-tooth White gear. Its 15 and some change.

so the manual thing dont mean if your car is automatic or manual? o...i would have never figured that out lol

And maybe im blind but i didnt see any for 390 gears...they jumped from 373 to 410...

and how hard is it to put in

Sorry i assumed you were manual. You have auto >?

If so you need the auto one. You wont see any gear for 3.90's because its a newer gear for the Mustangs. But as you can see the white gear goes from 3.55's - 4.10's 3.90s fit in between. So you will be ok.

SO yea im blind lol, but yea its auto...so the tooth is still the same right?
and i couldnt find one that was white....so the black one would be for the auto?

Also, as you mentioned earlier, you will not lose any MPG in city driving. It is still all about when and how you shift so it won't be a problem for an auto.

You might lose 1-2 mpg highway but that will be the extent of it.

hahaha. Sorry i was at work and i still am. I have to have CAPS on at all times for the system we use here. I wasnt yelling and when it comes to dealing with people who are trying to learn im very nice about it. And yes there are people even in here that will get a short temper when dealing with people who dont know what they are talking about.
