the only cobra rods that came from the factory forged were the 03/04 cobras. they actually got manley rods right out of the box.

with what you have now, you should be at 10:1 compression or more. depending on power/boost levels you may want to drop down to like a 9:1 or 9.5:1 for a blower set-up so a dished piston would probably get you that.
Alright so 03 cobra crank and robs will fit in my gt rite? And dish pistons is a must. So what size of injectors should I use

well for 10-12psi id recommend 44# injectors minimum, if you wanna go higher boost maybe even 60#

what fuel pump are you gonna go with?

EDIT: 39#-44# should be enough, i thought you were procharging a 4v not 2v

I would deff lower the compresion if you plan on running 10 to 12psi.. 9:1 comp at about 11.5 A/F ratio would be beautiful.. 10.5 A/F would be pretty consevative for DD..

Everything in a cobra block will fit your block.. It's essentially the same engine with better heads and intake..

If you don’t mind me asking how many miles are on that 96-98 engine and what is it going for??

I just got a 96 cobra engine with 40K miles on it with pcm, harness
Only damage in the accident was the 2 pig tails that lead to the coil packs where broken off and a little battery acid splashed one of the valve covers.

I’m trying to figure out the value of this thing and trying to make fair trades in my area and can’t seem to get an answer in today’s economy

Does any one know if I could take the pcm to a tuner and find the MPH at the time of the accident and the miles? I would thing there would me some kind of number linking the engine to the pcm. It’s been out of the car sense 99.

Thanks

There is a write up about this on svt performance. You should check it out. It involves alot more than you realize.
