AM/sct 4 bank chip issue

hey guys recently installed the sct 4 bank chip from american muscle into my car and i have to say im pretty impressed for the price, firmer shifts. harder takeoffs and what feels to be like a significant amount of power o yeah and a bit better gas mileage.

but my largest isse with it is that when im on the freeway if i go WOT when it drops into the lower gear it will over rev it self and pretty much drop into the gear right at 6k and if i dont let off it will push all the way to 6300 or so, not it doesnt feel like anymore power from doing that it just makes my engine scream and almost seems as if it could be dangerous to my engine/transmission

any opinions???? all constructive responses are greatly appreciated

Happens to me also with the handheld tuner. Its just due to the rev limiter being disabled from the tune. Honestly I don't think its going to hurt anything unless you are in top gear and keep the engine at/above redline for an extended time. A second or two before shifting should be fine. Although I'd like to hear others input on this.
