so alot of talk about this P.I. swap generally asking how much does it cost and can someone like me with not to much experience with heavily modding accomplish it with hand tools in my garage

Welcome to the lightside, as far as goin from f-body to SN95 prepare yourself for a slower, but(thank God somebody else notices the little things about Chevys, i.e. lightbulbs) a more reliable fuel effiecient car. For the P.I. swap is can be gathered for around 500 dollars if your lucky, with the heads being the most expensive/hardest to find parts, and if you basic toolhead knowledge it can be fairly easy

you should be able to do it. just need some tools and a little common sense. it just might take you longer then others. the timing is easy on our 4.6's. shoul throw the kit together around $500
