where the hell does this part go lol.
It came with my UPR offroad X pipe. and it never mentions where it is supposed to be installed at.

Hmm, that's a weird one. It looks like the part is supposed to be in the kit, it's not a mistake. However, UPR doesn't mention it specifically in their instructions. I think it should go on the driver's side, between the connecting pipe and the x-pipe, but it might be a good idea to check with UPR. They have instructions with their contact info listed here: http://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/yhst-...stallation.pdf. Good luck!

I installed my UPR pipe today it that piece was in the left upper flange where it attaches to the manifold. I left mine when I installed the pipe. I did have to loosen the left side and center the flange up a little but it all fits good. It's a LOUD upgrade for the exhaust

I did receive an email today from UPR and that extra fitting should only be used on 99-04 UPR X-pipes. It seems they were put into the earlier boxes by mistake. I'll be removing it from my head pipe on Monday when I weld in my cats. It's just too loud in the convertible now with the uncatted X-pipe and 2 chamber Flowmasters
