Purge solenoid and purge canister. Could be either or. Or both. I had the same code and after going to 2 different shops and taking up four days I got it fixed. Also could involve the vaccuum hoses (cracked or split).

The code can come on if your fuel level runs real low as well. Fill up the tank and see if that turns it off after about 50 miles or so. The second most common reason is a cracked vacuum line

Follow the vacuum line off the BACK side of your upper plenum. It will run to the 3 components in the evap system. There are two electrical components and a charcoal canister. The canister is the last part of the system and the rarest to need to be replaced. It is located inside the passenger side fenderwell. the easiest way to acess it is to remove the tire and fenderwell splash shield.

Im gonna check all of the vacuum hose to see if there are any leaks if not I'll order the purge solenoid and maybe the canister. I did some searching on the net and that looks like it might be the problem

I had this code for a while on my 96 gt, and my fix was easy and zero cost. On a hunch I removed the solenoid valve (mounted on the firewall) and sprayed some MAF cleaner inside. I reinstalled without ever clearing the code. After a few days the code went off and has stayed off for weeks (after being on for much longer). So, I'd recommend trying this first if you have the time (plus checking vacuum lines as others have mentioned).
