Opinions on hood needed.

Say what you want, i don't get all butthurt over the internet.

I got these three pics off the interwebs:

I have wanted this hood for some time. Ken at extreme dimmensions (Authorized Vendor ) is willing to hook me up a great deal on one.

Now that i see it i just can't decide if i want it or a cobra R hood. It would be nice to keep the body all Saleen ya know, but I am just having a hard time deciding.

What do you guys think about it.

It's really hard to tell any detail of the hood in those pics. I do like the Cobra R hood like these guys are saying though. I'm not biased either

Soon I think. It's only available in carbon fiber though. I am going to hate to paint over it.

i say do the saleen hood. its a good lookin hood and how many people have that hood compared to a cobra r? the only person i can think of on this sight that has that same/similar hood is mpcobrafan.

Bingo. Get the Saleen hood. Cobra R is overdone. I've always admired the heat-extractor Saleen hood. It's much more exotic/rare than any other SN95 hood. And I agree it might hurt a bit to paint over it, but maybe get a custom paint job on it so you don't have to cover up all the carbon fiber. Talk to your painter or look around the net for inspiring pic's.

That's alright, we all have opinions. I know a lot of people hate cf, but I think a nice CF hood on any color looks good. Like old school muscle.

I'm going to pic whore my families cars here, but it's the only pic I have of my mom's Super Bee. Lots of old muscle cars had flat black hoods, and I think a nice CF hood would be the same idea

yep those r sick. we got a 1970 plum crazy purple charger 440 in the garage, abd a 69 two tone red and black charger. and a 1970 superbee numbers matching (the real beast)
