Re: Wheels
I posted a thread asking if CV police car rims would fit my mustang. The answer I got was no. Today I was driving and saw a crown vic with a set of mustang rims somewhere in the years of my model. The car wasnt in very good shape and the people driving it didnt look like they would know what a conversion kit was. So im confused
Anybody have any answers?? Is it a for sure; No they wont fit?

Yes, they will fit...
May i ask why you want to know? The wheels are close in size and back spacing they interchange to the ford explorer's as well. Alot of mustang guys use explorer wheels to run sticky tires for the track..

Yep - seen this done at the track with aluminum spares up front like poor man's pizza-cutters, haha. Some people don't care how they look while they're going fast. I'm not one of them.

I just have a picture in my head of what I want my car to look like and I see it with those rims. maybe?? They might not be big enough. Im a long way away from that though. Soon as I find a cheap van to carry my work tools im parking it and gonna start working on it.

Yep. But this is the first house I have ever had that has a garage. I have been using the mustang as my daily driver cause I gave my little mini van to my x-wife. Three weeks later she ran a red light and hit a bmw. It was a total loss. So now until I find another one ive got to drive the stang.
