ratchet shifter

hay guys im planing on putting a auto trans in my cobra for dragracing i was wondering if there were any ratchet shifters or if i have to use the ugly ass stock shifter if there are any after market shifters with a reverse valve body please let me know,

is that a auto with a stick look alike. it looks bad as did you buy it or was it custom

Did it myself.

EDIT: There's ways to put any knob you want on the auto, and putting on a boot is easy, just need an elastic one at the bottom.

No, it works in the same P R N D 2 1 All I did was find a custom knob, relocate the overdrive, and stick a boot on. I have the system lock disabled also, so I can move it about without the car being on and the brake being depressed. But it still locks in gear.

yeah i just couldent find any of the ratchet shifters for my cobra i like the stick but its not great for bracket racing

I think my mistake is I posted in the v6 mustang section when it's the GT people who want it! Haha.

Yeah I want a PM or something too. I have a rare cobra body with a gt set up in it and an auto and the center is built different so the auto shift sits to high, the bodies are more different than i thought they were. It looks like shit lol wanna fix that like urz. Thnx
