Cobra Block
I found a good deal on a 4.6 aluminum Cobra block and I am considering buying a 5.0 stroker kit for it. My question is will the Cobra block work with my gt top half--pi heads, cams, intake, throttle body, transmission and any other part I am leaving out. I have too much time, and money in the top half to get rid of it now. Also will it work with my gt transmission, I know I am going to have to upgrade the transmission one day, but I really don't want to have to do it all at once.

yes, it will work fine. when you go to buy bolts/studs, bearings, etc; you will have to get them for the aluminum block.
